We know for certain that the beginning of a child’s life is filled with many wonderful discoveries for both parents and children. These discoveries can often leave us as parents feeling tired, isolated and perhaps overwhelmed. Enrolling in Joyful Parenting will enable you to encourage and support yourself and fellow parents through the challenges and blessings of parenting young children.
Each class will offer time for you to observe your child(ren) in a social environment as well as a chance to meet like-minded families in our area who are working with the same parenting and educational issues.
CHILDREN LEARN AND DISCOVER
-Social interaction with others
-Age-appropriate movement skills- crawling, walking, climbing with the support of adults
-Playing and exploring with simple toys
PARENTS LEARN AND DISCUSS
-Songs, nursery rhymes and finger games to use at home
-How to create a weekly routine that suits the needs of a young child
-How to encourage independence and nurture childhood
