Cathy Block's production "That's What Kids Do" this weekend at the Bristol Riverside Theater
Cathy Block performed a great concert for us last spring. She is wonderful and this show is certainly worth checking out!
Seasonal
Cuttalossa Farm
This little remote farm is truly amazing! Not commercial in the slightest and the setting is breathtaking. Take a quarter so you can buy some food for the sheep, roosters and ducks. There is even a baby lamb there this week! It's about a half mile from Solebury Orchards.
Directions: Take Mechanicsville Road toward the river; pass the sign for Solebury Orchards farm market. Where the road makes a sharp turn to the right, go left/straight onto the the unpaved road and its small bridge. Follow the Cuttalossa Creek past the "two one-lane bridges" sign and a magnificent sight appears on the right.
Another great little spot to see exotic animals and beautiful lavender on beautiful grounds. Only open on Saturdays. Just off Mechanicsville Road.
None Such Farms Pumpkin Festival
I've never been but it looks good. Other pumpkin picking suggestions are welcome!
Fall Fun on the Farm
The Market at Del Val offers tractor-drawn hayrides out to the pumpkin patch for pick-your-own pumpkins, pony rides, inflatables, a giant corn maze, and children's activities.
